🔗 SUBNETS — sharing groups inside this cluster
A tracked location is private to whoever marked it. To share it, its owner gives it to a subnet:
a group of accounts and nodes the cluster admin defines here. Files uploaded to a subnet and nodes assigned to one
are seen by that subnet only; a file or node with no subnet stays cluster-wide.
📡 RELAY ROLES
A node with its own radio does not have to depend on anybody's network.
Turn a role on and that node stops being only a client: it carries traffic for the nodes
around it. LoRa reaches its immediate neighbours; an SDR node stands in as local
infrastructure and hands a hop to a satellite when the next node is past the horizon.
📡 SATELLITE & CELLULAR SERVICES
Each node is offered only what its radios can actually carry. Activating a
service provisions it against our partner account and writes the commitment to the ledger;
it is billed in ENERGY as a monthly reservation plus a metered rate.
🔑 HUBBLE DEVICE KEYS
Hubble issues one key per device, and that key is the device's
identity — it is what makes a packet attributable to a node. Keys are held here
encrypted, never sent to a browser, and handed to a device only over the local
network. The fingerprint is shown so two keys can be told apart; the key itself
cannot be read back out once stored.
